Sunday: Welcome Dinner
On Sonday evening we will have the opportunity to visit the traditional Viennese "Heuriger Feuerwehr Wagner". “Heuriger” is the Viennese term for the wine of the last grape harvest. And it is also the name of the places where this wine is served. “Let’s go to heuriger” is an invitation that marks the beginning of a sociable evening full of fun. At the Dinner you will enjoy Viennese cousine (self payment of drinks).
Monday: Reception at the Vienna City Hall
Monday evening, after the first day of negotiations in the committees, we will be hosted by the Mayor of Vienna, Dr. Michael Häupl, in the impressive town hall. An official representative of the Viennese Government will welcome you. We will have the possibility to shake a leg (if you like to waltz) and try out Viennese food and free beverages.
Tuesday: Reception at the Diplomatic Academy Vienna
On Tuesday evening we are invited at the Diplomatic Academy Vienna. The DA offers postgraduate training which prepares young graduates for the varied challenges of an international career. The Academy equips its students with the academic qualifications, the language training, intercultural competences and management skills which are today the essential and often decisive prerequisites for the successful entry into many international professions and a subsequent interesting career. It is open to graduates of any discipline and of any nationality. There will be a short presentation of the academic programmes of the DA, afterwards snacks and beverages. We will also have the opportunity to play the piano, sing and dance!
Wednesday: Clubbing at "Pratersauna"
On Wednesday, the last day of our MUN, there will be a big party at "Pratersauna". "Pratersauna" is a Social Life & Art Space. This former sweat'n'bang wellness center surrounded by the peaceful Prater greens is an old-school Viennese institution (1965), still unspoiled by its original architecture and its dubious reputation. Its minimalistic space combining 60’s charm with contemporary interior and art design is set up as a 'micro cosmos' for creative communities. Meanwhile, "Pratersauna" developed into one of Vienna's newst and most attractive club with tech-house and minimalistic music. (If you bring your swim stuff with you, you can even throw youself into the pool all night long.) UNYSA-AUSTRIA organized that you have to pay only 2.- Euro as entrance fee. It’s going to be a great evening!
